City Love

I hope you’re all nestled away in your nooks of the world, working away and prepping for some form of holiday/celebration. I want to send a huge thanks to readers of the Overcast arts magazine for all the love they’ve shown me recently via the “Best of NL” awards. To be mentioned in the same breath as some of the other artists on this list is an honour and a humble morale boost for myself. The Overcast has also included the Memory Game on the short-list for the Borealis Music Prize, alongside some local heroes like Amelia Curran, Fog Lake, the Kubasonics, and Ouroborus. Many, many thanks.

Over the holidays I’ll be joining my musical companion Justin Strong for a show at the Rock House on December 27th. But, before that I’ll be taking part in an old time Christmas variety show at the Rocket Room on December 20th. That show will feature myself as musical guest, Green & Gold as the house band, stand-up from Veronica Dymond, a chat with renaissance man Elling Lien, all hosted by comedian Andie Bullman. Looking forward.

Hope you and yours are well. All the best for 2018.
